The acronym stands for Leadership: Concepts, Methodology and Initiatives; it represents the start of an effort to comprehend our present reality through the visions and efforts of those who sacrificed their lives, freedom and well being to lead us from oppression and slaughter, to the American dream??

Show us the straight way, the way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,

those whose portion is not wrath and who go not astray

In the mean time we have a Black president, while at the same time we have more black people and people of color incarcerated than ever before, the housing issue (gentrification), the jobless rate, the health..., everyone besides the native American and the Hispanics are immigrants and have surpassed us in the so called quest for the American dream, but we have a Black president. 

If you are not familiar with these issues or do not care, then you should consider this, billions of dollars has been spent to aid the "urban communities" black communities. What happened to all of this money, did the Enrons and Maddofs of those times steal it, is that why we had to stay on welfare for generations, is that why our communities where crime and disease infested, do you remember redlining? Governor Coumo went to congress and asked for money to build jails and was denied, he instead took the tens of millions of dollars that were already allocated for poor housing and built jails. This was the beginning of the jail boom, privatization of jails for money; the warehousing of humans (Blacks and Hispanics mostly).
